Elevate Health and Therapeutic Services is seeking a passionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) who loves working with the pediatric population to provide outpatient clinical and school-based therapy services. Immediate full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities are available.
Summary:
The SLP will join a small team of SLPs to offer exceptional assessment, treatment, and team collaboration for children with a variety of communication disorders to include, but not limited to articulation, phonology, apraxia of speech and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
To be considered for this position a New Jersey license to practice Speech-Language Pathology and certificate of clinical competence (CCC) is preferred. Clinical Fellows will be considered. Background check is required.
Role and Responsibilities:
Speech/language treatment sessions
Collaboration with clients' team of caregivers, school, and other treatment providers, and paperwork including daily notes and progress reports.
Candidates must have strong skills to work both independently and in collaboration with colleagues.

Role and Responsibilities:
Gathering all information necessary to properly evaluate the patient's needs, including testing and consultations with other health care professionals, as appropriate.
Administering evaluations in a manner appropriate to the patient's disability, demonstrating respect for the patient's needs.
Incorporating evaluative findings in establishing time-oriented functional and measurable short and long-term goals.
Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on established goals.
Developing a rapport and mutual respect with the patient/caregiver, as well as team members, to foster an optimum environment in support of goal achievement.
Collaborate with the SLPs and audiologist working on staff.
Recommending and providing education related to utilization of appropriate occupational therapy equipment (i.e. assistive devices, taping, bracing).
Providing and documenting education to patients/caregivers based upon identified learning needs in an understandable manner.

What You’ll Do
Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
Provide ABA therapy and behavior interventions to autistic individuals
Analyze data and adjust programming based on client progress
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for holistic care
Train and support caregivers, staff, and school partners
While this is primarily in clinic, you could conduct school-based FBAs and develop effective Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
Write clear, thorough FBA reports and contribute to IEP development
Maintain timely and accurate documentation
Support positive change in families’ lives through compassionate, evidence-based practice
What We’re Looking For
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field
Experience working with autistic individuals
Strong ABA assessment and treatment planning skills
Skilled in school-based FBAs and BIP development
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Ability to think independently, creatively, and with compassion
Knowledge of insurance requirements/billing (preferred)
